Hello Tom,

Please see the attached records responsive to the first part of your
request. As for the second part, asking for 'copies of all emails;
including attachments, between Apple and the Department of Transportation
between July 1, 2021 and the present date' is overly broad, potentially
resulting in thousands of emails which would require individual review for
confidential and/or proprietary information. Please advise if you would
like to provide more specific parameters for this portion of the request.

Pursuant to the Arizona Public Records Law this is a request for records on
behalf of Wired magazine, a leading media outlet covering technology and
society for more than 25 years. I hereby request the following records:

1. Copies of any contracts, memoranda of understanding, or any other
agreements between Apple, manufacturer of the iPhone, and the Department of
Transportation.

2. Copies of all emails, including attachments, between Apple and the
Department of Transportation, between July 1, 2021 and the present date.

This request is being made for news-gathering purposes and the requested
documents will be made available to the general public. Government spending
on security technology is a clear matter of public interest. As such, I
request a waiver from any fees that would ordinarily be assessed for
fulfilling this request.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform
me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer
the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or
CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I
