Ms. Lipton, hello and thank you for your record request. I've been assigned to process your request. In light of your interest in a rapid response, I wanted to provide such information as I can that is responsive immediately. With regard to your first request concerning our record retention schedules, those are actually available online on the Arizona Secretary of State's website. The link is https://www.azlibrary.gov/arm/retention-schedules. If you search by "Corporation Commission" you will find the agency specific schedules applicable to the ACC. I would note that these are the agency specific schedules and must be read in conjunction with the general schedules that are applicable to all state agencies. The general schedules are available online at https://www.azlibrary.gov/sites/azlibrary.gov/files/arm-all-general-schedules-2017_05_15.pdf.

Regarding your last inquiry, our record management coordinator and liaison with the state library is Kim Battista. Her email contact is kbattista@azcc.gov<mailto:kbattista@azcc.gov>. However, if you have inquiries that are not in the nature of requests for documents in our possession, the appropriate person to direct those to would be our public information officer, Angie Holdsworth. She can be reached at aholdsworth@azcc.gov<mailto:aholdsworth@azcc.gov>.

Regarding your second and third inquiries concerning lists of records in agency custody of documents that are either essential or, conversely, are not needed pursuant to ARS 41-151.14(A)(3) and (4), I am continuing to search for what lists we may have that may be responsive to your request.

If you have any questions concerning this initial response, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Respectfully,

Charles Hains
