Dear Records Officer,
This is a request under the Pennsylvania Right to Know Act.
Pennsylvania statute Title 18 Section 6109 Subsection (i) states that when a license to a carry firearm is revoked, the issuing authority shall a send a notice of revocation to the individual whose license is revoked, and that notice "shall state the specific reason for revocation."
I am requesting access to and copies of every such revocation notice sent by your department in 2016.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. This request is being made by The Trace using MuckRock's public records management service. Therefore, The Trace will be covering all charges associated with this request. If you send an invoice, please make the invoice out to The Trace.
