All calls for service to the Alexandria Transfer Center from January 1, 2010 through the date this request is processed.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, and is not being made for commercial usage.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Hello Ms. Robinson,
Thank you very much for resending this letter. In it, Mr. Calvit informed me that the City of Alexandria "does not operate and has no contracts with the 'Alexandria Transfer Center' and has no records responsive to your request for 'All emergency plans and/or related agreements regarding the Alexandria Transfer Center'." The letter also requests a physical address for the Alexandria Transfer Center in order to respond to my request for calls to that facility.
I would like to clarify that the Alexandria Transfer Center (http://www.geogroup.com/Maps/LocationDetails/117) is a facility located on the premises of the Alexandria International Airport. It was built in 2013 as part of an amended contract with The LaSalle Economic Development District for the LaSalle Detention Facility. It's address is:

Alexandria, LA 71303
However, if this is not an address that would be used to direct such calls, i.e. calls to that area are simply directed to Alexandria International Airport, then I would ask that responsive documents include all calls made to that area. The officially listed address for the airport is:

It is not unusual that a contracted correctional/detention facility be required to maintain plans for coordinated emergency response purposes with local law enforcement agencies. If the case is that no such plans exist with your department because the facility was built in coordination with another municipality, I would appreciate confirmation and clarification of that detail. If emergency response plans may fall under other agreements with the airport, I would consider those materials responsive to this request.
I have attached two documents regarding the location of the Alexandria Transfer Center.
