To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
· A copy of the standard curriculum currently used for sexual education throughout the school district. If there is different standard curricula for different grade levels, I would like all of those individual curricula.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.

Your correspondence was forwarded to me, APS Custodian of Records.
Please use the custodianofrecords@aps.edu<mailto:custodianofrecords@aps.edu> in future correspondence.
We have received your request for records, specifically, “…A copy of the standard curriculum currently used for sexual education throughout the school district. If there is different standard curricula for different grade levels, I would like all of those individual curricula.”
The appropriate departments will be contacted to search and determine if the records exist and are allowed by law to be inspected.
It is expected that we will be able to communicate the status of the records requested by January 7, 2019, or sooner, if possible. Please note that APS schools will be closed December 21 through January 4, and the entire district will be closed December 24 through January 1.
If the records can fit into one email (18 MB or less), we will email them to you free of charge. If the total size of the files is larger than 18 MB, we can make the files available via Google Drive free of charge or we can put the files on a portable digital drive for$10.00 (cost of portable digital drive).
If the records are not available electronically, we will inform you of the availability for inspection of the records and/or copying. We charge 50 cents per page to copy records.
