Pursuant to the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, I hereby request the following documents:

A record or spreadsheet showing the dollar amounts allocated int the overall budget for Art-related classes (Newspaper, Journalism, Yearbook, Photography, Art, Ceramics, Drawing and Painting, Computer Graphics, Digital Film Production, Drama) specifically.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.

Dear Mr. Stacy:

This letter is in response to your e-mail received March 2, 2016, by Nancy Chavez in the Albuquerque Public Schools Superintendent's Office. She forwarded it to me for a response. Please direct all future correspondence to me as custodian of records for APS as defined by the NM Inspection of Public Records Act.

This letter also is a follow up to my letters of Dec. 11, 2015, and my e-mail to you of Feb. 16, 2016. I have enclosed both letters and copies of the e-mail (which contained both letters). As I stated in those letters and the e-mail, with regard to your request for "a record or spreadsheet showing the dollar amounts allocated int (sic) the overall budget for Art-related classes (Newspaper, Journalism, Yearbook, Photography, Art, Ceramics, Drawing and Painting, Computer Graphics, Digital Film Production, Drama) specifically," I asked you to provide the time period or periods for the budgets you are interested. And, to date, you have not responded. In order to provide you with information, I need a response.
