Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:
departmental policy in reference to officer identification and interactions with the public furthermore, any policy in which the officer must state their name and badge identification number to the general public upon request. In Addition, we are seeking any department policy in regards to the body-worn camera, Bodycam (BWC), or any recording device which may record audio or video when interacting with the public.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

We are unable to fill your request based on:
The records you are requesting are not on file the, APD's Information Coordination Unit, the requestor would have to go to our LPR vendors to have them pull this amount of data to fulfill 15 years of LPR hits (if they store that long). All that data (for Elsag) is stored on an Albany County server.
