Adams County, MS contracts/MOUs re: Adams County Correctional Center

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to Mississippi's Public Records Act, I hereby request the following documents:

All contracts (and their amendments) and memorandums of understanding entered into by Adams County, Mississippi for services and activities related to the Adams County Correctional Center (https://www.cca.com/facilities/adams-county-correctional-center)

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

I apologize for the seemingly insufficient nature of my request and appreciate the apparent disclosure that no documents exist that would satisfy my inquiry. In order to clarify, can you confirm that Adams County has no formal agreement regarding the operation of or provision of services to Adams County Correctional Center? If a revised submission of my request would be necessary to elicit such agreements, I'd be happy to oblige. If you may be aware of other county agencies that may be in possession of such agreements, that would also be useful for future direction of my request.
