Pursuant to the The Missouri Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
Communication via email, fax, text or phone call, within the Adair County Sheriff Department, by Sheriff Hardwick and/or to Sheriff Hardwick, from January 1, 2019 to May 19, 2020, regarding Richard "Rick" Thurman Morris DOB 12/20/1963, living at either 13922 Wallace Greentop MO 63546 or 14546 State Hwy B Kirksville MO 63501.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

This email is to advise you of the cost that will be associated with procuring the above requested records (RSMo. 610.026):
(RSMo. 610.026.1[1]) Copies of in-house emails......13 pages X .10 cents per page = $1.30
(RSMo. 610.026.1[2]) Copy on 1 page of text messages from Sheriff's agency phone......1 page X .10 cents = $ .10
(RSMo. 610.026.1[2]) Copy of emails to be obtained from the Archiver-this is accomplished by Sprocket Technologies,
(Bradley Ray), 304 S. Franklin St., Kirksville MO 63501 (660) 665-6880. They have quoted a cost of $200 that includes
retrieval, time associated with assisting us in getting the file for review, and then presenting the file in a readable
format on to the requestor.
(RSMo. 610.026.1[2]) Copy of phone conversation was recorded by the Sheriff with Rick Morris on 01-07-2019......$1.00
Plus, our agency charges a base $5.00 copy request fee.

Payment must be received prior to obtaining copies (RSMo. 610.026.2).

After checking with our computer/storage provider, I'm going to give you an estimated completion date of Monday, June 15, 2020. If for some reason that doesn't work out, I will definitely email you to let you know and why. I don't foresee there being any issue with the June 15 date, tho.
