This week, we released improvements to our request download tool so it works better with large requests and improved the language in follow ups. Here’s what’s new at MuckRock and how you can help out.
MuckRock Release Notes: Crowdsource your document troves more easily than ever with upgraded Assignments
We’ve been incredibly excited about the early response to the Assignments platform, and we’re delighted to roll out more features to help you launch and manage crowdsourcing campaigns to dig through large document sets.
Last week, we refactored how we delete requests to both protect user privacy and minimize agency confusion. We also fixed an attachment bug on multirequests and broadened our support for forms that agencies asks requests be submitted on.
It’s not uncommon for requests to have dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of attachments. Now you can get the all pulled together for easy download with just a click.
No major releases over the last week, but we’ll be at Code for Boston tomorrow if you want to meet up in person, or join or Slack to talk about contributing to our efforts.
