Vision Pros x driving (Washington State Patrol)

Dear Caroline Haskins:
Thank you for your interest in public records of the Washington State Patrol. Your request has been received and is being processed in accordance with the Revised Code of Washington, RCW 42.56. Your request was received in this office on 2/5/2024 and given the reference number R001898-020524 for tracking purposes.
Records Requested: To Whom It May Concern:

There have been at least two videos that show people using the self-driving function on their Teslas while wearing Apple Vision Pros, released February 2.

It's highly probable that there have been multiple incidents of people driving or using a self-driving car while wearing Vision Pros. I am seeking documents that would capture any incidents of people getting pulled over, given citations, or arrested for doing this.

Therefore, pursuant to Washington Public Records Act I hereby request the following records:

* Any CAD reports, incident reports, traffic citations/summonses, warning tickets, field interview cards, or any other documents produced since February 2, 2024 and the time that this request is processed that mention the Apple "Vision Pro" or refer to the Vision Pro.

This FOI request is being filed in pursuit of a time-sensitive news story. Therefore, I ask that my request is expedited.

The Washington State Patrol does not capture what type of device the individual is using when they are given a citation for RCW 46.61.672 - Using a personal electronic device while driving.  There were 99 citations given between the dates of your search.
