To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the state Freedom of Information Act, G.L.M. c.4, €7, clause 26th, I hereby request the following records:

1. The total amount spent on advertising and any marketing activities for FY 2009
and FY 2010.

2. A breakdown of advertising expenditures, including but not limited to the amount
spent on television advertising, radio advertising, print advertising, point of sale
advertising, internet advertising, direct mail, and free tickets/coupons for FY 2009
and FY 2010.

3. Copies (preferably in digital form) of all ads used for television advertising, radio
advertising, print advertising, point of sale advertising, internet advertising and
direct mail for FY 2009 and FY 2010.

4. Any and all agency e-mails related to advertising and marketing activities for FY
2009 and FY 2010.

5. All market research conducted in FY 2009 and FY 2010, including the results of
any surveys and focus group studies and any analyses of the measured impacts.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

I just wanted to be clear. You are referring to the following section of my letter to you dated June 17, 2011:

(5) All market research conducted in FY 2009 and FY 2010, including the results of any surveys and focus group studies and any analyses of the measured impact:

Search, segregate and make copies of records: Estimated 15 total hours at the lowest paid employee who has the necessary knowledge or experience to complete the task ($31.26/hour) = $469.00

Is this correct?
