This responds to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request of February 15, 2016, in which you requested copies of any Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command contracts with Endace Ltd or Endace USA Limited, was received in this office on February 16, 2017, and assigned Tracking Number DON-NAVY-2017-003661.

Pursuant to procedures established in Secretary of the Navy (SECNAVINST) 5420.42F, our search for responsive records only encompassed those records still in existence as of February 16, 2017, the date your request was received in this office.

Our search for records included contract files maintained by Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) as well as our Systems Center. However, despite this diligent search , we were unable to locate responsive documents. Accordingly, we have closed your request.

If you believe that an adequate search was not conducted, you have the right to an appeal. It must be received within 90 calendar days from the date of this letter. Please attach a copy of your initial request and amended request, a copy of this letter, and mark the appeal letter and envelope "Freedom of Information Act Appeal." You are encouraged (though not required) to provide an explanation why you believe our search was inadequate.
