In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

I want to apologize for the delay in responding to this request. The employee responsible for handling this request has since left the State of Nevada. In the interim, I have taken over these duties, and after being made aware of your request, I am working with department staff to collect all responsive records.

Good afternoon,
I am responding in regards to a public record request made by Victor Ledezma:
I am requesting all agreements and contracts with the state of Nevada and the mining company, Barrick Gold Corporations, from January 2020-2023
I am working with staff to respond to the request. As I noted in the MuckRock system, staff turnover has led to a delay in our department responding to the request.
I wanted to ask what the request was in regards to? By having a bit more specificity about the request, it can help our staff find records that are directly responsive to the request. Also, is the requester interested in just Barrick Gold Corporations, or Nevada Gold Mines as well (the join venture between Barrick and Newmont)?

According to our Bureau of Mining Regulation and Reclamation, there are no documents responsive to this request (for either Barrick Gold or Nevada Gold Mines).
