From: Adam Vaccaro

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, M.G.L. c.66, §10, I hereby request the following records:

Any email correspondence between John FitzGerald and anybody with a 2024boston.org, northwinstrategies.com, or suffolk.com email address from May or June of 2015.

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

I expect the request to be filled in an accessible format, including for screen readers, which provide text-to-speech for persons unable to read print. Files that are not accessible to screen readers include, for example, .pdf image files as well as physical documents.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Adam Vaccaro

Hey Adam,

I'm not exactly sure if this email reaches the administrators at Muckrock
but I was hoping to change the email on their file to teresa.polhemus
<teresa.polhemus@boston.gov>@ <teresa.polhemus@boston.gov>boston.
<teresa.polhemus@boston.gov>gov <teresa.polhemus@boston.gov> our new
Executive Secretary.

Can you help?

Phil

From: Teresa Polhemus

I am writing to acknowledge receipt of your request of June 9 seeking
records under the Massachusetts Public Records Law. I believe that the
domain requested to be included in the search for emails for Northwind
Strategies was incorrect, can you confirm so that we conduct a proper
search?

Relevant Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) staff will research and
review their files on the subject you referenced. Please note that state
law permits a charge of 20 cents per photo-copied page and 50 cents per
laser-printed page. A fee may also be charged for staff time dedicated to
the search for, review of, and production of documents. Given the fact that
scarce public resources are dedicated by he BRA to public records request
responses, it is the general policy of the BRA to require payment of these
charges.

I will contact you when costs identified with your request can be
estimated. At that time, should you decide to move forward with your
request, the documents will be produced and provided to you upon receipt of
the appropriate payment.

Adam -

You will receive the public records for which you requested via a separate
email with access to the City of Boston File Transfer FTP. The BRA has
opted to waive all fees associated with the search and segregation of these
records. The email files are sent in Mbox format and can be most easily
read via Thunderbird. Please feel free to reach out if you have any
questions.

Thank you for your patience.
